I mostly draw OCs, humanoids, anthro/furry, ffxiv and Dnd characters.At the moment I am concentrating on doing commission work but I hope to work on comics in the near future as well!Commissions are usually open each month unless stated otherwise via social media announcement. By purchasing my art services, you automatically agree to the following Terms of Service. I will deny your request if it is obvious that you have not read the Terms of Service. ARTISTBy commissioning me, you're purchasing my artistic labor only. I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce or use the image as a sample for sales/self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon.I will respect your request to not publicly post your commission, just ask!I cannot claim the intellectual property or reuse/resell the image for personal and commercial projects.I reserve the right to reject your commission proposal without question.
COMMISSIONERYou, the commissioner, may upload the work done for you to your site as long as it is credited back to my carrd or one of my socials! (jatobear.carrd.co)Once a piece is commissioned, you may use it for any personal use (non-commercial use) that you please, including but not limited to icons, signatures, layouts, wallpapers, themes, and personal site display. You cannot generate income in any way, shape, or form with the commissioned work.You retain the rights to the intellectual property. (Intellectual property means your character in this case)You may not claim the work to be your own or set it up for redistribution. You may not use it for any external projects, commercial or non-commercial.You may not use the work in any involvement with NFT.You may not use the work in any involvement with AI-generated images.
PAYMENTAll payments should be in USD.All payments will be made through invoices from Paypal.Payment must be paid in full and upfront before the finished artwork is delivered.The prices shown are base prices.Once our negotiation is done and I've started your commission, I won't refund you the full amount past the sketch stage.In the event that I may have to cancel commissions due to circumstances occurring on my end, you will receive a refund.
PROCEDUREAfter payment is received, I will start working on your commission! Process updates and approvals will be sent depending on the commission type!Turnaround time varies by commission type. Normally, pieces range from 3-9 weeks depending on complexity, my availability, and how many slots I take on at a time.You will be notified and be sent regular updates if your piece exceeds the 7-week mark due to my own personal situations that inhibit my ability to work.My off days are Saturday and Sunday currently. Please do not contact me about work on these days. *Subject to change in the future.Regular updates will be posted on my Trello.
CORRECTIONS/FIXESCommissioners are allowed up until the sketch process is complete to ask for edits! After that, all other edits, that are not simple fixes, such as patterns or eye color changes, will cost extra.Anything that needs to be fixed on "my mistake," any detail that was on or described in your reference(s) that I had missed will always be fixed for free!I will delete the PSD files of the finished pieces 24 hours after final feedback has been given upon receiving your finished piece. I will not make any edits after this time.
